libgmsh2v5 software package provides Three-dimensional finite element mesh generator. Shared library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgmsh2v5
libgmsh2v5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgmsh2v5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgmsh2v5 *
You will get with libgmsh2v5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
